l Valle exceeded our expectations with its ambiance, food, and service. Although we're not often downtown, we're grateful Yelp! recommended this gem. Upon entering, the Mexico City vibes captivated us instantly. The decor, from the intricate tiles to the wallpaper and lighting, was tastefully designed, creating a perfect setting for a romantic date. Now, the food! There's something on the menu for everyone. We started with the Soaps de Carnitas, bursting with flavor, where the pork belly truly shined. (Pictures attached!) I chose the Ensalada de Narnanjas, while my husband savored the Short Rib for our mains. Every dish impressed us. While it's on the pricier side for the city, the experience was worth it, especially with great company. Cheers!

I stopped in for happy hour while I was in town recently and it was solid. I had a glass of bubbles ($7), the guacamole, and the chicken wings. The guacamole was pretty forgettable - not very creamy or citrusy and came with pretty heavy chips and a couple stout pieces of radish. The wings were pretty good and I ordered them medium, which was enough to get my nose running but they were tasty. It would be nice if they would extend their happy hour to the covered patio so you could enjoy the weather on comfortable days. I would consider coming back in the future.

Had the scallops, they were excellent. David, our server, was great- he recommended the Sabor a Mi and No Culpes, both of which we loved.

I visited El Valle this past week for their Happy Hour and absolutely loved it. The restaurant itself is gorgeous and the bartender was super friendly. I ordered a Sangria that was not only pretty to look at but tasted even better. It wasn't overly sweet nor bitter it was just right. I also had a couple bites which included the smash hamburguesa, chicken taquitos, poblano mac and cheese, and their herb guac. The burger was little overcooked for my liking which made it a tad bit dry but it was still tasty flavor wise. My least favorite was the chicken taquitos which lacked much flavor and tasted quite dry. The guac and poblano mac and cheese were definitely my favorites. The guac had a little kick and just tasted quite fresh. The mac and cheese was flavorful and creamy but just know there is no chorizo meat in the mac and cheese which cause a little confusion. Overall I had a great experience and look forward to returning!

Came for happy hour but already planning my next visit to try their actual dinner/lunch menu. This restaurant was bigger than I expected with a fancy casual ambiance. I feel like this would be a good place for a pre-show or post-show night cap. Their happy hour is pretty extensive in my opinion in terms of contents. It's not just solely drinks and the food options, though more so on the small plate size, were still somewhat shareable in my opinion. The staff was also very friendly. The bartenders were knowledgeable in both the drinks and the entrees and answered all of our questions with no complaints We got; Guacamole Smash Burger Taquitos Poblano Mac and Cheese Sangria We split all these amongst the two of us and the total was $50, or $25 per person. My favorite out of the bunch was definitely the Mac and cheese and the smash burger (which was essential just a mini burger but very flavorful in my opinion). The sangria was sooooo good. I've had sangrias that were too sweet or not sweet enough but this was the perfect medium. And it was pretty sizeable in my opinion. Overall, really loved the vibes of this place and definitely see myself coming back.

El Valle is one of the hidden gems of Midtown Atlanta. From the contemporary design style, the kind and welcoming staff, to the delicious food, wine and cocktails, the entire experience is hands-down one of the best you can get in the city. Its wine menu is certainly one of the most complete, and best paired. The food is reminiscent of Spanish and Baja- Mexican style dishes for all tastes. The ambiance, is wonderful for both dining, lounging, and a classy night out. Highly recommended!

The ambiance at El Valle is top notch. Service is just OK - we had a couple of issues. For example, we were done eating before sides came out (had to remind waitress we were missing them). Our cocktails took a very long for our table while they were coming out quickly for all the tables around us, but we weren't in a rush so not a huge deal. We may have ordered and spent more if we didnt have to wait 25 mins per drink. Here's how I'd rate the items we ordered: -Ceviche 4/5. Had great flavor but kind of surprised there were no chips or anything to put the ceviche on to eat it. I suppose we were to just eat it as is with a fork? -Soft shell crab appetizer 2/5. Polenta was tasteledd. The batter in which was crab was fried in wasn't good. -Pork belly appetizer 5/5 -Caesar Salad 5/5. Not sure how they did it but this may have been the best caesar I've had in my life -Lamb entree 3/5. Both customers requested medium rare and received it medium well. -Short Rib Mole 4/5. Excellent flavor. Had mine not been cold when it came out, it would've been 5 stars. -Corn Pudding 5/5 -Mashed Potatoes (they have a different name on the menu) 2/5 for lack of flavor -Cocktails 5/5
